Returns & Refund Policy


Every product sold by Hewitt Brown Art Gallery is “made to order,” which means it is specifically manufactured just for you only after you have placed your Order. 

Hewitt Brown Art Gallery does not accept refunds, returns or exchanges for Orders. 

We are also unable to make any changes or cancellations to orders after 24 hours from the moment the Order is placed. If you believe you have made a mistake with your Order, please contact us immediately using this form.

Hewitt Brown Art Gallery does not accept returns. 

Each order is custom-made just for you and, therefore, non-returnable. Shortly after your order is placed, our team of professional printers and framers goes to work. 

We print and frame everything in the US and Canada; we use fine art acid free museum quality papers and we hand-assemble every frame.

Hewitt Brown Art Gallery color matches every print to the artist's source file and fully authenticates every piece. At Hewitt Brown we stand behind all of our art with a 100% quality guarantee.

Damaged Returns - Order Received Damaged

On rare occasions, one or more products in an Order may be damaged while in transit by our shipping partners. If any product arrives damaged, please send detailed, clearly visible photos of the damage including images of the packaging. In cases where one or more product(s) is damaged, Hewitt Brown Art Gallery may elect to replace the damaged product(s) in Hewitt Brown Art Gallery’s sole discretion following a review of the photos submitted (“Damage Review”).

If requesting a Damage Review, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:

1) photos of damaged areas of product(s) must be clearly visible and submitted in .jpeg or .png format;

2) photos of damage must be received by Hewitt Brown Art Gallery no fewer than forty-eight (48) hours following the indicated delivery date of the applicable Order by the shipping provider responsible for delivering the Order;

3) photos of the damage must have been taken immediately following receipt of the product(s), and the product(s) must not have been hung, placed or otherwise installed prior to photos of the damage being taken;

4) a Damage Review requires a minimum of ten (10) business days to complete, and Hewitt Brown Art Gallery may elect to replace or repair the damaged product in its sole discretion; and

5) the delivery of a replacement product, if any, will be subject to then existing manufacturing capacity, inventory, availability and shipping timing. 

If your work is damaged or you received the wrong image, please contact us using this form and no later than 48 hours after receiving your order. 

Make sure to include photos of the shipping box & detailed shots of the damage in your email, along with your order number. We will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, by replacing the art work(s) you ordered. but refunds or merchandise credit will not be issued.

Warehouses and 3rd party receivers:
All work must be checked and approved upon arrival if you ship artwork to a warehouse or 3rd partyreceiver, including art installers, framers, storage, or onsite contractors. 

Ownership of the work transfers once checked in at the warehouse and is no longer the responsibility of Hewitt Brown Art Gallery. 


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address}.


NO Shipping Returns

DO NOT RETURN PRODUCTS TO ANY ADDRESS YOU SEE ON THE WEBSITE - WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY PACKAGES OR MAIL. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
